At present, it is a museum exhibiting Royal
Paraphernalia of Rank used in royal ceremonies and various other regalia.
For instance, utensils used in a royal funeral consist of the bed for pouring
water on the royal corpse, royal pot-pourri and a royal petal style pulpit.
In addition, there is a royal palanquin and a royal sedan chair used in
the royal barge riverine procession. There are also oil paintings from King
Rama Vs visits to Europe as well as portraits of the Kings relatives
displayed on each floor of the museum.
In the exhibition room on the first floor, there
are lamps imported from Europe for decorating royal coaches during the reign
of King Rama V. Antique porcelain is also on display from China, England,
France and elsewhere.
